Completely untouched by man, the jeweled walls of Modrič cave conceal a silence and darkness so rarely present in the modern-day realm. Located near Zadar, yet situated nicely off the beaten path, this incredible cave was discovered unexpectedly in the early 1980s by a speleologist who was searching for shelter from the strong bura winds after his bike broke down.
